Ashfield Council is redeveloping its Administration Building and Civic Centre at 260 Liverpool Road, Ashfield to meet the needs of its staff and community, now and into the future. The redeveloped Council Centre is a leading example of sustainable and modern urban design.
The Ashfield Council Centre Redevelopment brings with it many benefits to Council's customers, users of Council's facilities and Council staff.
Stages 1 & 2 have now been completed and include:
State of the art library, twice the size of the old facility
New accessible customer service area
New community meeting rooms
New & Refurbished staff accommodation
Outdoor plaza/forecourt area on Liverpool Rd
Work started on Stage 3 in June 2012 and is expected to be completed early 2013
The Design and Construction of the Stage 3 works includes
The upgrade of Ashfield Town Hall into a beautiful 250 seater venue for civic functions and community hire
A new Youth Centre
New Archive Area
Construction of a new Community Space on the mezzanine
