It’s part of the vintage Prahran Town Hall that for 150 years has been the community life’s centre. Build in the popular Italian style by architects Crouch and Wilson in 1861; it has been a stunning Town Hall. In 1988, the complex was extended to include the city hall which is currently the Prahran Library in Greville Street.

Its clock tower has become a landmark in Chapel Street. It was constructed in 1980 by Charles D’Ebro after being he designed it.
