Veludo Bar and restaurant, located on busy Acland Street, is the perfect venue to celebrate your next special occasion! Made up of 2 levels, we can cater for large sit down dinners, private cocktail parties or casual gatherings. We have live music Wednesday-Sunday and a late 3am licence.

Downstairs is our restaurant which can cater for large groups of up to 40 guests on a set menu. This space is not private but very relaxed with background tunes and couches.

Upstairs Veludo is made up of the main bar with a dance floor, Garden Bar balcony and our private function room- The Candy Room.

The Candy Room is ideal for groups of 20-95. It is a private cocktail style room with a private bar and AV equipment is included. There is plenty of space to form a dance floor as well as couches and high tables. This room is ideal for special occasions such as 21st and 30th birthdays, hen’s parties and engagements. There is no room hire fee but instead a minimum spend to be made up of canapés and beverages. The room is available until 1am however with our 3am licence your group are still welcome to kick on afterwards in the main bar.

The Garden Bar is the most popular spot at Veludo. For smaller more casual functions you may consider reserving a space in the Garden Bar. Although not private we put barricades in place to reserve your area and again there is a minimum spend to be made up of canapés and beverages. We can reserve different areas depending on how big your group is, from 15-50.

Just looking for a late night venue? Veludo is open until 3am with DJs until close on Friday and Saturday nights. Guest lists are available and recommended.
