Hold your next party in the Cafeteria Car at the National Railway Museum Port Adelaide.

Built in 1947 at the South Australian Railways Islington Workshops, the Cafeteria Car was initially used on the East-West Express between Adelaide and Port Pirie.

When booked for a birthday party during opening hours, use of the Cafeteria Car includes:

Admission to the museum for up to 6 adults and 20 children, with extra adults and children charged at a reduced cost.

Air conditioned, milk bar style seating, and themed decor from an era representing rock and roll, swirling skirts, slicked hair, and milk shakes.

Central servery contains fridge, pie warmer, kettle, and microwave.
