From the manager

The Eureka Hotel in North Richmond is a perennial favourite in the neighbourhood. Well, it has been there for rather a long time. So it’s to be expected that the joint would’ve accumulated a bit of a following since the 1890s.

Is it the frequent events? The trivia, or poker? Is it the cheap tacos? Is it the fact that it sits along a bunch of tram lines? Is it the drinks specials? Or is it all of the above, plus a friendly, laid back vibe? Not sure.

As far as function rooms are concerned, the Eureka has a pretty darn good un’ up its sleeve. Said room is able to transform into a 600 person capacity bandroom as easily as it can a sit-down dinner space for up to 250. It sports a private bar, as well as a huge kitchen, and all the requisite PA equipment/DJ gear/etc that you’d expect from a pub that hosts that many performances and functions.

The Eureka Hotel is found right smack bang on the corner of Victoria Street and Church Streets. Woah! That’s also the intersection of the 78/79 and the 109/42/24 trams. WOAH! Super convenient. That’s in North Richmond, with North Richmond station being just down Victoria Street.
