The Daylesford Cider Company specialises in traditional craft cider, for which it won a Silver and 2 Bronze awards at the Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards earlier this year.  The orchards, cider mill and Tavern are part of a stunning 25 acre farm located 5km east of Daylesford, only an hour and a half from Melbourne, Geelong and Bendigo.  

The Tavern and gardens have an English-style feel to them and offer a stunning setting for weddings and garden parties in the summer, or a cosy get away in winter.  The interior is beautifully finished with flagstone floor throughout, pitched roof ceilings, huge wooden doors and an open log fire place.

The whole property can be hired for weddings and large events, or alternatively one of our function/dining rooms can be booked for smaller gatherings.  We are a relaxed establishment who are flexible and happy to work with our customers to find a suitable package for their event.

We often have live music on weekends, so if you are looking for some fun, come and kick back with us, enjoy a cider or two and tuck into some homemade fare.

A little about our delicious cider - 17 varieties of Enligsh heritage-listed cider apples are grown on the property using organic methods.  After harvest, the apples are crushed onsite in our cider mill and their juice is pumped into our temperature regulated vats.  After several months of fermentation, some hard work, and a lot of love, the cider juice is ready to be bottled.

We do not use chemilcals, preservatives or nasties, nor do we artificially sweeten nor dilute our cider.  It is simply authentic cider made from the raw goodness of real cider apples.

Tours of the orchards and/or cidery can be organised as part of the package.  Please call us to discuss.
