Burnside Ballroom

The Department of Environment and Heritage (formerly Heritage SA) rates the Ballroom as "an excellent example of a 1950's interior demonstrating characteristics of a modernist design. There are no other known examples of this style of interior intact."

The Burnside Ballroom offers a spacious ground floor and mezzanine level, two bar areas (one upstairs and one downstairs), and a well equipped kitchen. The venue also features a stage and seating booths and tables along the eastern and western walls. Chairs and trestle tables can also be supplied.

The Ballroom is available for hire for a wide range of activities including:

There is also ample free off site parking in the Burnside Civic Centre car park and good access to public transport.
