From the manager

The Box Factory Community Centre boasts a proud history of local community engagement and is a thriving community centre offering a friendly place for groups to meet and people to connect. We aim to foster a sense of belonging to a caring community in which members are accepting and supporting of each other, thus endeavouring to provide opportunities which will extend into their wider community.

The building’s life began as the Federal Box Factory, but has been operating as a community centre for the last 30 years.

You'll find our 2 storey heritage-listed building with original Box Factory signage and facade in the heart of the city's South East (Between Halifax and Carrington Street, just off Hurtle Square). We are a disability friendly building (with lift access) and have limited parking available.

Facilities:

Tables, Chairs, Whiteboards, Overhead/Slide/Data Projector, Screens, TV/Video/DVD Player,
