The Ascot Building is located in Kadina's main street. The cultural centre serves the Copper Coast community with performing and visual art activities. The art gallery features artworks acquired through the Cornish Festival Art competitions and hosts many travelling exhibitions.

A lift services the second floor allowing people with disabilities to experience live performances in the theatre styled facility.
It is in close proximity to many community services and food outlets.
There is a community lounge with daily newspapers open 10am-4.30pm weekdays, and Saturday mornings from 9.30am-11.30am.
